the next apple design

 

Every year I like to try a new design, basically to see if it works. Last year I did letters and they worked out great (and would be PERFECT customizable favor or gift). (see below)

This year, I am looking to my audience for some help. Do you have any ideas for my next design I should try? Simple is better. Too many little parts or details just get lost during growing season.

The Apples are getting so BIG

The galas are starting to take shape. Soon it will be time for me to add my hearts. I want to time it right so the Galas are a good size to apply the hearts and the color isn’t at its peak.  We don’t want my hearts to look like misshapen balloon animal. ( was that just an idea..?) According to my log book, mid to end of July is the perfect time to apply my art.  Get ready Galas!

These Galas are the blank canvas I use to create my heart apples.
